  Thursday 2nd of April 2016 and I check-out from MARINN PLACE Financial District at 3 o'clock.  I book an UBER and the car is already outside the hotel so it was just to go down and in to the UBER car.
We are hauling arse through the city and we are on the highway in a record-breaking time and we stop in front of the Tocumen International Airport after 30 minutes. A pleasant surprise to step in to Tocumen International Airport. There were not many people and even better, not many people waiting to check-in to Copa Airlines. Fast Lane and I was through immigration and security in a couple of minutes. Copa Club, nothing worth going through the trouble to visit, well, they have private computer room. And as I had to wait for a couple of hours to wait for flight CM 194 to Mexico City, I decided to go have a look if there was a computer room for me. There was a room available and I put my carry on in the room and I go to get some water. Arriving to Tocumen International Airport two months ago and the buffet at Copa Club was sliced bread, very sad food in the lounge. Late afternoon and the food were for sure not any better. Some pasta salad that was at least to say looking tired. I had bought some peanuts arriving to Panama City and I enjoyed some peanuts together with my water.  Copa Club

I left Copa Club to start walking to gate #121, of course at the other end of Tocumen International Airport. I leave 2 hours before departure, there is really not much of excitements in the Copa Club. And nothing to eat so I will look for a place where I can buy a sandwich. Walking towards gate #121 and I pass one kiosk and I see that they have proper diet drinks and I stop to buy 5 cans. I see that they have sandwiches and I buy two to enjoy while waiting at the gate. They have tables at the kiosk and I return the sandwiches to the girl and ask her to heat up the sandwiches for me.  Enjoying a diet drink
I enjoy a can of diet drink with my sandwiches before I continue towards my gate, plenty time and I limp slowly towards the gate. The gate is in what I think is called a satellite. Benches in the middle surrounded by gate 121 to 126. I find a seat and I pop open another diet drink that I enjoy while waiting. An hour or so and I could see some activity at the gate and I went to board Copa Airlines flight CM 194 to Mexico City. Waiting for 6 hours in Mexico City so I knew I had a terrible night head of me. Boarding flight CM 194 to Mexico City at 9 o'clock and I should already have been in bed for an hour and I was dead tired, I will hopefully  be able to sleep on the three and a half hours flight to Mexico.

Taking of and BOOM, the itching in the back of my knee started. I went to speak with the Stewardess to get rid of the itching. As soon as I stand up it disappears, sitting down and it starts again. Impossible to speak and the last time I went to speak with the Stewardess to get more water I was so tired I could hardly stand up. I went back to my seat, immediately it started to itch and I could not sleep. This is on every flight and it is very annoying and the other passengers are looking at me. I flew to Costa Rica back in 2024 and the passengers thought I was scared and they told me that flying was nothing to be scared of. +++++++++++++++
Friday 3rd of April 2026 and I was tired and in a bad mood when we arrived to Aeropuerto Internacional Benito Juárez in Mexico City, but God!!! It was nice to come off the airplane.

No signs for the international connections and there was only one option, to walk towards immigration. And we trotted on and on, reaching an escalator and we were underground. Keep on trotting and no sign leading me to the international connections. It felt like we had been walking back to Panama City when I spotted a sign to international connection. And it was in the same direction as immigration and custom. Yes, we have to pass immigration even though I was flying on to Narita in Japan. Millions of people in immigration, but the line moved surprisingly fast and I was soon past immigration and custom. There was no signs or directions, and forget to ask anyone, English knowledge was on level ZERO. I managed to find an elevator and it took me a couple of tries before I found the right level. What an airport, it was like Indian airports back in the 80's. But I managed to find the security.  As good as it gets on Aeropuerto Internacional Benito Juárez
One lady asked for my boarding pass and passport. She looked at my boarding pass and she called another of the security guards. She understood zero English and it looked like it was the first time she had seen a boarding pass. She called the manager and I asked what was wrong. The manager said that everything was OK and I asked what the duck she was on about. Passing security and they had let through my computer bag with one remaining can of diet drink that I had forgot in my bag. Good, a little something to enjoy on my way to Tokyo. I asked one immigration service officer where I could find the Star Alliance lounge. He only spoke Spanish and I asked if he spoke English. "We are on an international airport so English is expected" "We are in Mexico, we speak Spanish" "YEAH, look where that have brought you" I have no clue were to go, two ways, towards gate 1 to 17 or something, and the other way was towards gate 19 to 38. I chanced and I took off towards gate 19. No sign of any Star Alliance lounge and I asked a couple of the airport officials, nothing. What an airport, holes in the floor and nothing seemed to be working. And nowhere to have a seat, I needed to sit down to check internet for ANA lounge in Mexico City.  The steak was good, but not as good as I have grown used to the last two months. But it was OK and the avocado was very good. Disappointed that they did not have black tea. Finding out that there was a lounge for ANA passengers and I went to have a look. Not very easy to find at the airport looked like a construction site, yet another country I never want to come back to. Flying to Mexico City and they told me that it was the same time in Mexico and Panama, I was dead tired and I just wanted to get onboard the plane so I could sleep. Now found out that we had to retard the time by an hour and it was another hour to wait before I could board All Nippon Airways flight NH 179 to Narita in Tokyo. The had some of the nicest arm chairs I have ever seen in the lounge. I interrogated the staff and they were custom made, darn, I would love to have two of them at home.        Flying from Panama and the right knee was itching, now it was the left knee and I had to get up to walk around every now and then. And I left the lounge more than an hour before departure to walk around a bit. It is really nice to walk around, the itching disappears immediately. I find gate #125 and it is about 20 minutes before boarding, and again, I do not know what is wrong with Mexico City International. Now they went on about my boarding pass again and it was a little bit of discussion before we could sort it out. Finally, in my seat onboard All Nippon Airways flight NH 179 to Tokyo. don't remember much, I was just asking for an extension and I remember that I did not want anything to drink or eat when they brought the menu. We take off and I wake up and we are pulled out from the jet bridge, 7 thirty so we are late and I have been a sleep for an hour.  Finally, boarding our flight

Airborne and I make my chair in to a bed, I got two extra pillows and I was soon a sleep again. Waking up after 2 or 3 hours and it is not possible to sleep again. I ask for two cups of Earl Grey tea with milk. Took a bit of effort to explain that I wanted Earl Grey and not green tea. But after that they were at my set every now and then to ask if I  wanted more tea.
Well, they asked if I wanted more tea every time they saw me, what I difference from flying east two months ago when I decided not to fly ANA again.  Earl Grey tea

Six or eight cups of tea and I was soon a sleep again. Waking up and I had to dash off to the  bathroom or I would have wet myself.
More tea and I asked for noodle soup. Starting a video that I turned off after 5 minutes. Hollywood and the want to brain wash us about LBTQ and shit. Two guys started to kiss, well, that is it. I started a second movie, something about how good it was with open borders and shit like that. This move was turned off quicker than the first one. Pop open my diet drink that they did not discover in the security back in Mexico City. A little later and I saw another passenger drinking one diet drink and I was thinking that he had brought his own as well. I see that he is drinking from a glass, so he must have got the drink onboard. I ask for a diet drink and they delivered one for me, in a glass. Hmm,  maybe I will have to review ANA, from a shit airline to something you can fly with in case of emergency.

Saturday 4th of April 2026 and they served breakfast 3 hours before arrival to Narita International Airport, we had been on our way for 11 or 12 hours and the time had been very slow. But I had been very lucky, no itching behind the knees.
Itching or not, it was very nice to get off the plane, security check and I was on my way to the lounge. 5 to 6 hours to kill before ANAs flight NH 805 to Bangkok is leaving. Narita International Airport was almost empty and it was really nice. I went to buy some stuff before I went to the lounge to have some snack.  Narita airport is empty

The lounge was almost empty when I came, but it was full when I left for my flight to Bangkok. There was one guy taking a set next to me at the smallest computer desk. I had sneaked in there to be alone. We started to chat  after a while, turned out he was from Singapore. Time turned very quickly and it was soon time to leave the lounge.
My new friend was flying to Singapore so he left 10 minutes before me and I was soon on my way to Gate 57a and All Nippon Airways flight NH 805 to Bangkok.  Time to board flight NH 805 at gate 57a

Taking my seat facing the last 6 hours of my journey. Did not take long before I dozed off in my seat. Waking up when we left the jet bridge. They brought drinks and I asked for a diet Pepsi and I got one. But it was not Pepsi Black/ MAX. The can was half black and half red and I do not know what it was. I asked the Stewardess and she told me it was ginger flavours. Did not taste like ginger, but I never asked for a second can. The dinner, I had gotten hungry so I accepted the dinner and we had a good salmon starter and beef for the main course. The starter was good, but the beef for main course, well, it was OK. I asked for Earl Grey tea but there was no milk in the tea so I asked for a wee bit of milk. I do not know if they forgot my milk. I was asleep before the milk came and when I woke up the tea cup was gone. +++++++++++++++
Sunday 6th of April 2023 and I go to 7 Eleven to buy milk and some refreshments before going to Suvarnabhumi International Airports taxi stand. I am back in my room at 1 thirty.
And as it is Sunday there is no need to wake up for a session with The Red Devil (ปีศาจแดง ก.กุมานนท์) at Chaiyasit Muay Thai Gym.  On the way to my room

Monday 7th of April 2023 and I bring the penguin to Chaiyasit Muay Thai Gym. Now I have carried it around half the world, from Falkland Islands all the way to Bangkok and it will be nice to finally get rid of it.
And it was, well, ok to be back to Chaiyasit Muay Thai Gym with my sessions witht he Red Devil (ปีศาจแดง ก.กุมานนท์) But today I only did 6 rounds to avoid the pain tomorrow.  The penguine is finally reaching the end of the journey

Aladdin Gym will be busy preparing for fights. Doctor Aladdin Gym have changed name to Monday Aladdin Gym. And Pakmood Aladdin Gym have given up the Muay Thai.
