Saturday 13th of February 2021 and I left my cottage around 9 o'clock. It was a great day with sunshine and I was going to look for the Spotted Nutcracker. I realised that I had forgot my sheep skin so not possible to sit down on the cold rocks.
My Guide gave me a bucket of bird food yesterday and I will go back tomorrow and I will pack my sheep skin in my bag tonight so I won't forget it tomorrow. So I drove straight to the Hawk-owl area. No luck with the owl, but I saw two Golden Eagles that looked to be in a “spring time” love fight and we will most likely have Golden Eagle eggs this spring.
My Guide had recommended a trip to Mässingsbruket in Skultuna so this was my next stop. Too much ice on the stream so no sign of the White-throated Dipper, the reason for me to go there.

I decided to go have a look at Sågdammen to have a look. Last time I was here it was summer and the stream was full of beavers. I will not see any beavers today as the stream is covered by ice.

Sunday 14th of February 2021 and I left Fallängetorp för folk och fä around 9 thirty and I passed Hällby farm and I spotted 200++ Eurasian Jackdaw on the way to the eBird hotspot: Skillberg, Fläckebo. The farm was full of the birds and I stopped to report them to eBird.
I was at the eBird hotspot: Skillberg, Fläckebo at 10 o'clock. And as I had packed my sheep skin yesterday so it will not be any problem to sit on the rocks today. I walked up the hill and I could hear birds approaching the area.
I opened the bucket of peanuts and hazelnuts and the bird came to me and I had one Blue Tit coming to eat from my hand.
I put out peanuts, hazelnuts and butter and then I sat down to take pictures, or trying to take pictures. I was soon in a Eurasian Sparrowhawk action when the bird attacked a Great Tit.
Recorded with my ZOOM H5 Handy Recorder. ZOOM SSH-6 shotgun. High Pass Filter applied with Audacity
I was sitting one a rock and suddenly there was a terrible ruckus behind one off the trees. One Great Tit was running up the trunk calling. And the other bird was (Looked as) falling down behind the trunk and I thought it was a Great Spotted Woodpecker.
The bird took off and I saw that is was a Raptor, one Eurasian Sparrowhawk. Thanks to Bird Safari Sweden for ID. The Eurasian Sparrowhawk landed in the next tree and I saw the Eurasian Sparrowhawk attacking one more bird diving from the tree.
Another Great Tit is answering from a position behind me
I see the Eurasian Sparrowhawk but it was impossible to get any pictures as there were twigs between my camera and the Eurasian Sparrowhawk. I sneaked around trying to get a picture.
I think it is a Goshawk but after sending the picture to Bird Safari Sweden and it was ID as a Eurasian Sparrowhawk, a new bird for me.

There was a lot of birds and time passed very quickly. The sun moved quickly and the area was soon covered in shadow. I packed my things and I walked back to the car and I left for Salbohed. It is about 15 minutes to drive to Bird Safari Sweden's feeding.
I arrived there at 13 thirty and the sun was shining against me leaving the birds between me and the sun so no good pictures. There were plenty birds and I tried to get pictures of the Bullfinch.
