On the road to Bergslagen



Friday 9th of April 2021 and I had a quick breakfast at 6 thirty and I was off to the parking house. It was gloom and grey for long as I could see. In to the car and I was on the highway 10 minutes later. Driving north on E6 and I took off to get up on E4 towards Stockholm.

It was soon starting to rain, heavy rain and I had to slow down. My friend sent a message suggesting that I had brought the shit weather to Jönköping. By the time I reached Jönköping I had brought the sunshine. Nice weather but very strong and cold wind.

I picked up my friend and we started by having lunch at a restaurant in the outskirts of Jönköping. The food was good and there was rhubarb pie. My friend was back at the table waiting for the tea water. I had a tea cup and he asked if there was water, but then he discovered that my cup was full of vanilla sauce.

I was shocked when we arrived to Trandansen, almost all the cranes were gone.

We never got out of the car at Trandansen. Even the car was almost blowing off the parking place. So we stayed in the car and it was the same at Naturum. We drove back to Jönköping with one stop at Fäholmen, Hornborgasjön. We drove back on a different road and we passed through Hjo where we were looking for soft ice cream without any luck.

I drop my friend at 4 o'clock in the afternoon and it is about 4 hours to my cottage. Nice weather until I approach Västerås when we have heave rain again.

I reached the cottage at 8 o'clock in the evening and I had have nice weather the last hour. I settle in to the cottage and I am in bed a little later with the alarm set to go off at 4 o'clock.
