 Aladdin's adventure at Thai Navy's shooting range
 Sunday 20th of May 2012 and I called the American girl at 11 o'clock and we decided to meet at Bang Na at 1 o'clock. I called my Teacher to tell him that we were coming at 1 o'clock. He told me  that he didn't had time until 14 thirty so I called the American girl again. We decided to meet at Bang Na BTS station at 14 thirty.
Good, that gave me some extra time. Even though I was home at 11 o'clock yesterday I was tired and I didn't get out of bed until 11. I didn't felt asleep until 4 or 5 o'clock. Sunday afternoon and the traffic on Sukhumvit was terrible, totally unexpected on a Sunday and the taxi was almost at a full stop. So I was a few minutes late to Bang Na BTS station. I meet the American girl and we called our Teacher. We were at the gas stop at the BTS station and this was just next to Royal Thai Navy's sport club. Royal Thai Navy has a huge area in Bang Na and there are Fitness Gym, swimming pool, tennis, golf and pretty much everything you can  think off. The first place coming in to the area is the shooting range.
He brought the American girl to the shooting range and then he came back to pick me up. I needed an ATM so we took off to get some cash for the shooting adventure. We stepped inside and our Teacher ordered bullets for us. I started with a pack .45 bullets and the American girl chose 9mm. It was half the price comparing to the Police Sport Club. Our Teacher was busy, he was going to start a Muay Thai class a little  bit up the road. So they have Thai boxing at the Royal Thai  Navy's sport club as well.
So he took off and there was one of the staff bringing me and the American girl to the shooting range. They brought us 2 guns, one 9mm and one .45 and the American girl started to shoot at the targets our guy had put up for us. The targets were 25 meters away according to the guy at the  shooting range. It was hot, the sun was shining straight at us from behind. But as soon as the excitements started I forgot about the heat.

I went to buy more bullets when we had finished the 2 first boxes. And when we had finished 2 boxes each we left for the Thai Boxing training to see our Teacher. It was a 5 to 10 minutes walk  to the Muay Thai school and when we arrived there were no sign of our Teacher. There were a few children playing along.
But our Teacher arrived after a few minutes and at the same time the young girl that used to be at Bangkok Fight Club arrived with her mother. Her Mother was screaming “HELLO ALADDIN” as soon as she spotted me.  - Who are you?
- I'm her mother - How do you know me? So there were 2 young boys and the girl training the Thai boxing today. And they did pretty much the same as we use to do at Bangkok Fight Club. Well, they jumped on a tyre and they were running back and forth over a bridge. The American girl had told me about the bridge, and according to her it was not fun to run  back and forth over the bridge.
The American girl asked the Teacher why the children were allowed to wear shoes. - They are children She had to run barefoot and I can imagine just how hot that has been running over a concrete bridge that has been in the sun all day long. I asked the girl's mother why her daughter had not been at Bangkok Fight Club for a very long time. She has started a new school and she doesn't have time to get in to Asoke for Muay Thai training  Getting ready to run over the bridge

The American girl and I left after an hour or so of watching the Muay Thai training. It was very fun to watch the children and I named the small boy Pelle Plutt. I told the Teacher that I will call him Pelle Plutt - Pelle Plutt tee song, he said ponting at me saying that I was Pelle Plutt “The Original” And it was very nice to talk with the girl's mother. She told me that they had to go to leave the  girl at her Taekwondo training. Well, I left with the American girl and I left her at Sukhumvit Soi 50 and I continued to Emporium on Soi 24.
I need to buy a colour toner for my printer so I can print the picture of the motorcycle taxi driver that I took yesterday on my way to Bangkok Photographers yesterday. I found my toner and I continued to the top floor, I had not been eating today so I was hungry. I ended up at Cafe Fish where I ordered Fish & Chips. It was OK, but I had to eat from a frying pan. I don't know why, I would have preferred to eat from a plate. I walked back home and I uploaded todays action  pictures on my Teacher's Facebook so he will be happy. I will print the picture of the girl and her mother and I will bring it to Bangkok Fight Club tomorrow for my Teacher to bring to the mother. Well, yet another weekend has come to and end. And I spent the Saturday taking pictures at the Klong Lord Market and the Sunday was spent playing with children.
I felt great, but I'm for sure getting old. I would normally have spent the Saturday drinking beer and the Sunday would have been spent in bed watching hangover DVDs +++++++++++++++
Monday 21st of May 2012 and the weekend is over and I had a full day with Thai language school and Thai boxing. I have some pain in my legs so the kicking at Sophia Muay Thai Gym didn't went  as well as I had hoped for. And more kicking at Bangkok Fight Club. But first the running around and the medicine ball. The Teacher told me to do the squat instead of push up to give my arms some rest.
We had just finished the running around when there was a girl coming. - Aladdin, have you forgot me? I recognised her, but it looked like something had changed with her appearance. Maybe because of the blue stuff she had put around her eyes. I don't know what they call it mascara? But she has not been her for almost one year, but I remember that she was always happy and she was happy and laughing all the time today so it must be the same girl. We had one Thai guy watching us so he might start training with Bangkok Fight Club. We had one British guy here that I never had seen before, also happy and laughing. We had our Thai friend and one girl from America, and of course or Teacher.

Tuesday 22nd of May 2012 and I was at Sophia Muay Thai Gym at 4 o'clock. I finished my Thai language school at 3 o'clock so I just have time to go home and change before it is time to leave for my boxing session. I could hardly move when I woke up this morning and they were looking at me when I was staggering on my way to school. Must have been all the squat downs and kicking yesterday. Squat down and kicking is good, you get an arse like an hazelnut. But I can't sit or walk because of the pain.
My legs weren't any better now and my Teacher told me to go for a massage. He knows that I hate massage and I could not help to think about an “Idiot abroad”, our hero arrives to China and he gets a massage. And our hero was as impressed as me by the massage. Was that a massage, I don't know. Or was I just being mugged?
My Teacher suggested that I should go for a swim instead for boxing to rest my legs. My Teacher will go to see his Doctor next Saturday and he will book a time for me so I can see the Doctor   when I'm back from China. So until then I will only use my legs.
So I was enjoying myself in the  pool while our Austrian friend's son  and my Teacher were sweating in the ring punching and kicking each other.
My Teacher told me that he wanted to join in the pool, but he was waiting for the American  girl. She was late and he told me that if she wouldn't arrive soon he would join me in the pool. She use to arrive around 16:20 but now it was
 5 o'clock and still no sign of her. My Teacher was just about to jump in the pool when she arrived a few minutes after 5.
I have a guy to come look at my water filter for the drinking water and he will arrive around 7 so I will have to skip Bangkok Fight Club tonight. Well, my legs will for sure be better off with a day of rest and I will  hopefully be able to kick behinds both at Sophia and Bangkok Fight Club tomorrow.
It was 5 fourthy when I was back home and I had a shower before my Electrician/ water man  arrived. He had a look at my drinking water filters and he discovered that the water pump was broken. The pump was warm but it didn't pump any water and I will obviously have to buy a new drinking water machine.
Well, I will finish school at 12 o'clock tomorrow so I will have time to go to Home Pro before going to Sophia Muay Thai Gym. Well, my flight TG 664 will leave Suvarnabhumi for Shanghai 11 o'clock in the morning so I will need to go to sleep (with the help from a sleeping pill) directly after Bangkok Fight Club tomorrow. So I will have to pack my weekend bag tonight, well it only takes 2 minutes. Pour a few shirts and 2 rolls of snus in to my weekend bag and I'm ready to go. +++++++++++++++
Wednesday 23rd of May 2012 and I left my Thai Language School after 1 hour. I was frustrated, every time I ask what something means our Teacher don't know what I'm talking about. So it is like everything I have learnt at my other schools is wrong. And maybe they are, but we got a list of words and I asked if this was the correct meaning because I have learnt different meanings of the words. I could not get any real answer.
Same with telling the time, I say 4 o'clock morning for 10 o'clock. This is how it is said according to at least 4 of my Thai books. But here they don't understand - What the  is 4 o'clock morning? We say 10 o'clock.
4 o'clock in the morning is fourth and 10 o'clock is either 10 o'clock or 4 o'clock morning. And as I said, most of my Thai books have it as 4 o'clock morning so this is what I use even though I understand 10 o'clock. But according to this school 4 o'clock morning is wrong. And asking what something means and they look very puzzled just because a tone or something is wrong. Foreigners understand their English, I don't know if it because we got our vitamins when we  grew up. I had a Teacher asking me:
- Do you drive vovo? - What the
But it only took me a fraction of a second to understand what she meant. But if you are just slightly off they look very puzzled and understand foock all. “vovo” is for sure so far off “Volvo” it can be but we're expected to understand. I was very frustrated and I left school. I decided to go to Home Pro to look for a water filter so I can get my drinking water to work again. I asked for their best water filter and the promised to come to install the water filter today. They told me that they could not come to day to install the best water filter they had. So I had to choose another brand and this brand had a European cable with ground so I choose this filter. Same price and they  guarantee that it was as good as the other filter. And they could install this brand today.
I could have waited until I was back home from China, but the grounded water filter made the choice easy. And I will call my Electrician/ Water man to come install a socket with ground. And filters, I need to change filters every year, except one of them that only needs to be changed every second year. This is the problem, I always forget when it is time to change filters so I decided to by filter to last me until 2016. I borrowed a marker pen and I marked all the filters with: MAY 2013 - MAY 2014 - MAY 2015 The staff looked at me and when they realised what I did they told me that it was VERY SMART!!  They told me that they would be at my place at 1 o'clock to install the OSMOSIS machine. At first they said 3 o'clock, but I explained that I was leaving for Sophia Muay Thai Gym at 3 and they promised to be there at 1.
I was not surprised when they didn't show up at 1. But I lost my temper when they called at 3 and told me that they were on their way. - Come back at 4 thirty, I'm not home. I hang up and I left for Sophia Muay Thai Gym for a terrible session. I have so much pain in my legs so I can hardly move so it wasn't much of a kicking I could do. I was back home 20 minutes before 5 o'clock and the water filter guy was waiting for me and we went up to my apartment to install the OSMOSIS filter. I had decided to skip my Bangkok Fight Club session due to the pain in my legs. But I walked to Bangkok Fight Club to give a picture to our Teacher. They were only 2 people and our Teacher at Bangkok Fight Club. Well, I walked back home and I went to bed at 9 thirty with my alarm set to go off 7 o'clock tomorrow morning. Well, this is over and out from FUNKY TOWN for a few days, but Aladdin's adventure continues in Shanghai so hang on! This might turn out to be fun!
