  Monday 28th of September 2026 and my alarm went off at 5 o'clock. Tea and vitamin pills  together with some nuts and pumpkin seeds
Gloom and grey for long as I could see, but no rain and I was full of  hope when I go on my Honda Giorno just after 8 o'clock in the morning.

Driving north on Srinagarindra Road and it was dry until I had passed the fly over. On the other side of Klong Samrong the Srinagarindra Road was flooded. This area is flooded every time we have had heavy rain, but it is possible to pass with the scooter. But today the flooding reached all the way to Si La Salle. Normally the flooding is gone by Bearing Road. Good, the Government have declared today and tomorrow as holiday because of the flood. So, no cars and I was hauling arse. Some motorcycles got out in the flood and I decided to follow them and it is flooded all the way to the tunnel at Hua Mak. The tunnel was dry and I was full of hope coming up at the railway crossing. But it did not take long before the hope was faded away. The railway crossing was flooded and there was a lot of cars and motorcycles stopped after the railway crossing. Srinagarindra Road was totally flooded between the railway crossing and Bang Kapi. And it was very deep so it is not possible to pass with my scooter. Most of the cars and motorcycles turned around, only some of the big cars continued. I turned around and I drove back to my room. And of course, it started to rain.  Coming up from the tunnel

Tuesday 29th of September 2026 and I try to get to a session with The Red Devil (ปีศาจแดง ก.กุมานนท์) at Chaiyasit Muay Thai Gym (ไชยสิทธิ์มวยไทยยิม) and I leave my room just after 8 o'clock in the morning
Maybe a wee bit less water today, but it was pretty much the same as yesterday and I turned around at the railway crossing. Driving back to my room and I stopped to buy water at Macro. They did not have any dill so I will try the market at Praeksa. Stopping for a foot massage on the way to the market. Wednesday 30th of September 2026 and leaving for a session with The Red Devil (ปีศาจแดง ก.กุมานนท์) at Chaiyasit Muay Thai Gym (ไชยสิทธิ์มวยไทยยิม) and I really hope that I can make it  today. Muay Thai or bust!
Way less water on Srinagarindra Road, still water on the road. And I could continue to Bang Kapi leaving the railway crossing behind. Reaching Ramkhamhaeng and it was dry, the last stretch of Srinagarindra Road had water, but it was possible to pass with my scooter. Crossing the bridge to the Nawamin and the bridge was full of parked cars. Coming over the bridge to the Lat Phrao / Nawamin intersection. I discover that Bang Kapi and Nawamin is covered in  water. Several busses stopped on Nawamin and they had been there for a couple of days. I have my doubt on if the cars will ever be cars again.

 Impossible for me to go to the gym using my normal route. I asked the people and they told me that I could go via Fashion Island. I said thank you and I drove back to Ramkhamhaeng Road. Thursday 1st of October 2026 and I leave for Chaiyasit Muay Thai Gym (ไชยสิทธิ์มวยไทยยิม). A little early just in case I need to drive via Fashion Island. The road all the way to the Lat Phrao/ Narawin intersection is dry.
Some puddles along the way, but nothing worth mentioning. The Police was clearing up the bridge over the canal to the Lat Phrao/ Narawin intersection. They had trucks and tow trucks and they were busy removing the parked cars from the bridge. The Government did tell people already a couple of days ago to remove their cars. But now the Police have stepped in to clear the bridges.  Police removing cars from the bridge

The traffic light at the Lat Phrao/ Narawin intersection was not working and the police was directing the traffic. As soon as I had crossed the intersection the road turned in to a mud road. And there was a lot of debris left on the roads, but there were cleaning crew clearing the areas. The sun was shining, and the road dried up turning the mud in to dust and there was a lot of dust in the air. But I made it to my session with The Red Devil (ปีศาจแดง ก.กุมานนท์) at Chaiyasit Muay Thai Gym (ไชยสิทธิ์มวยไทยยิม)
